Richie will be back…

As the 2012 motor racing season continues to unfold, I wondered about the progress of Richie Stanaway, the talented young New Zealander who is currently  holed-up in a French rehab clinic following his WSR accident at Spa on June 2.  For a young driver with the world at his feet, the frustration must be intense.  I caught up with him to check on his progress  – and to remind him that many are awaiting his return.

  2. Yeah, it was a big one, a nasty accident. As history shows, you can come back and be strong again, clue – NM. Obviously it’s boring to stay calm or in bed all the time, especially for a racing driver, nothing’s happening. Best regards to RS, may we see you in the car soon.
